Ukrainian Federation of Yoga Instructors in France
Olena has been practising yoga since 2001 under the guidance of Andriy Safronov. She holds degrees in both medicine and psychology, which she integrates into her teaching. She is the supervisor of the Medical Yoga department within the Ukrainian Federation of Yoga and the founder of the Ukrainian Institute of Yoga and Yoga Therapy. After relocating to France following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she continues her teaching and research in Paris, leading group and individual classes and developing her approach to yoga therapy based on years of study and clinical observation.
Teaching focus: Olena teaches classical Hatha Yoga, combining it with a modern scientific and therapeutic approach. Her work encompasses psychosomatics, psychological aikido, visual psychodiagnostics, as well as the history and philosophy of yoga.

Anna has been practising yoga for over twenty years and teaching for more than fourteen. She graduated in law and psychology and has a long-standing interest in Eastern philosophy and Sanskrit. She began studying yoga in 2006 with Victoria Yevsyukova and later joined the teaching team of Andriy Safronov. In 2009, she opened a branch of the Ukrainian Federation of Yoga in Odesa and later managed studios in Kharkiv. Now based in Paris, she continues her teaching activity within the Federation’s international network.
Teaching focus: Anna teaches classical Hatha Yoga according to the Ukrainian Yoga Federation program. Her classes combine physical practice with awareness and concentration, helping students develop discipline and a deeper understanding of their own state.

Kateryna holds a degree in philology and another in psychology. At the start of Russia’s invasion, she moved with her children to France, while continuing to teach yoga online for Ukrainians worldwide. In addition to yoga, she is active in dance, working as a lecturer for an educational programme and helping women explore sensual movement in everyday life.
Teaching focus: Her sessions cover classical Hatha yoga and pranayama (breathing practices), as well as work on emotions, habitual behavioural patterns, and the search for one’s true wishes and next steps in personal development.

Kseniya is a certified instructor with the Ukrainian Federation of Yoga who has been practicing yoga for more than 14 years and teaching since 2015. She holds a technical and psychological higher education, and previously worked in dance and gymnastics before moving into yoga. Her aim in classes is to help students develop body awareness — to feel their body, catch its signals, and respond from a place of balance and presence.
Teaching focus: Her approach emphasizes classical Hatha yoga in line with the Federation’s methodology, combined with practices that support bodily reflection, safe movement, and emotional-physical connection. She helps students learn to understand and enjoy their bodies, recognize signals of tension or imbalance, and move safely and consciously.

Liudmyla’s yoga journey started in 2009; she also practiced martial arts for 14 years, including kyokushin karate, judo, jiu-jitsu, and boxing, and is a former Ukrainian champion in kyokushin kumite. She later studied psychology and physical rehabilitation, and then moved to Paris, where she completed cultural studies at the Sorbonne and now pursues philosophy. Her background in discipline, physical control, and their transformation into yoga is a strong element of her teaching.
Teaching focus: Hatha yoga and Sandhaana yoga (a dynamic form of Hatha integrating chakra work) with emphasis on posture, breath, asana technique, chakra theory, meditative practices, and conscious work with emotions. Her classes target active people seeking development, not simply relaxation.

Olena is an instructor-methodologist of the Ukrainian Federation of Yoga, with over nineteen years of experience in practice and teaching. She is also a psychologist and the director of Yoga Evolution International School in Paris. Her education includes study and practice in India, Thailand, and Tibet, focusing on yoga, Ayurveda, Thai massage, and Sanskrit.
Teaching focus: Classical yoga within the UFY methodology, combining asanas, pranayama, and mental concentration techniques aimed at developing stability and inner balance.

Svitlana has been practising yoga for over twenty-four years and teaching for more than twenty. She is a psychologist and sexologist who approaches yoga as a path of self-awareness and balance. Her long experience allows her to guide students with precision and calm attention to both body and mind.
Teaching focus: Her approach to yoga combines classical Hatha practice with methods drawn from osteopathy, manual therapy, craniospinal therapy, post-isometric relaxation, massage, and acupuncture. This integration supports a precise and therapeutic understanding of movement, helping students release tension, restore balance, and develop awareness of the body’s connection to emotional and energetic states.

Tetiana has been practising yoga for over fifteen years and teaching for nine. She holds master’s degrees in psychology and sports rehabilitation and is also a certified Gestalt therapist. After studying linguistics at the Sorbonne, she continues to integrate language, psychology, and body awareness into her approach to yoga. Alongside her yoga work, Tetiana has participated in humanitarian and translation projects supporting Ukrainian communities in France, a reflection of her wider commitment to connection and care.
Teaching focus: Tetiana teaches classical yoga for beginners, as well as prenatal and postnatal practice (Prasu-yoga). She also leads dynamic Sandhaana Yoga sessions, combining Hatha principles with smooth, rhythmic movement. Her classes encourage students to develop both strength and inner steadiness through mindful practice.

Tetiana has been leading yoga classes and off‐site seminars for more than 10 years and is one of the developers of the “Jnana Yoga” direction (the path of knowledge) in the Federation. She holds a Master’s degree in European & International Law, as well as higher education in psychology and sports. Travelling to India introduced her to the classical sources of Hatha Yoga.
Teaching focus: Her teaching programme includes classical Hatha yoga (asanas) with elements of yoga therapy, pranayama (breathing techniques), meditative practices, and the study of foundational principles of harmonious energetic interaction with nature, society, and oneself. She invites students whose desire for yoga is supported by an inner intention to know themselves, discover something new, be ready for change, and engage in deep work.
